Welcome!
This site has been started to pay it forward:
to my kids, my class, my parents, and my community.
to my kids, my class, my parents, and my community.
This site has been started to help parents through the good and bad times of GT (Gifted and Talented) children of all ages, even adults.
I am a facilitator, a presenter, retired teacher, and a guide to help you find resources. I am a SENG facilitator and Love and Logic Guide to Parenting- facilitator. I have presented at the Colorado PTA conference and many tech conferences. I have taught
gifted kindergarten to 2nd grade. I have been a testing coordinator, testing kindergarten and early entrance kids. Most kids are not identified as gifted and talented until 2nd grade, but at both schools we started at kindergarten. I am also a mother of two GT girls, both are grown and are different in their own way. Yes, I had my struggles with them. I didn't have the resources to help them or me. Now, I see parents in the same situation.
Here you will find resources from acceleration to underachievement and more!
I hope these resources will help and guide you in what you and your child needs. If you find other resources along the way that you wan to recommend- feel free to contact me. I would love to hear from you. This site is always growing, so check back often. I would also love to hear from you on my blog! Talk to you soon!
